Brian Montgomery

Brian is passionate about developing leaders, building strong teams, and helping people achieve more than they thought possible. For Brian, great leadership starts with knowing yourself, earning trust, and bringing people together around a shared purpose. Throughout his career, he's learned that leadership isn't about individual accomplishments, but about helping others succeed.

A retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and Ranger-qualified Infantry officer, Brian served 24 years in leadership positions across the United States and overseas. His military career included combat deployments, humanitarian operations, and operations in Europe. His service culminated in command of an infantry battalion in the 3rd Infantry Division, leading soldiers through complex operations, uncertainty, and organizational change. He found great purpose in developing future leaders as an instructor at West Point and Professor of Military Science at Georgia Southern University.

Following his military career, Brian transitioned into corporate executive leadership, where he led business operations and helped bring new technology to market. His experience across the military, higher education, and private sector, combined with his background in organizational psychology, has given him a practical understanding of how people, culture, and organizational systems influence performance. He enjoys working alongside leaders to navigate challenges, set clear direction, build trust, and help teams achieve meaningful results.

Brian is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, and holds a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from New York University. He lives in Savannah, Georgia, with his wife, Carrie, and their two children, Andrew and Katie.
